RO water purification technology for river water treatment

Water used for GCEP is taken from surface water of Cau River, Bac Ninh province, however, it must meet certain technical standards to be supplied to the system. For many years, Cau River has been polluted due to untreated wastewater from production and business establishments, households, paper-making craft villages, etc., therefore, the river surface water treatment construction PLAYS A critical ROLE in ensuring the water supply for the plant’s operation.

CRE Vietnam continues to be assigned to carry out the Cau River surface water treatment construction for the Waste to Energy plant. The project uses Reverse osmosis (RO) water purification technology, one of the most advanced water treatment technologies available today. The post-treatment water meets the National Technical regulation on clean water quality used for living purposes (QCVN 01-1:2018/BYT) and can be used for cooling systems and boilers.
